I'm really pleased to announce a new venue for 2027 - Morley Hayes in Derbyshire.

The Hotel has 32 bedrooms, each boasts its own private terrace or balcony where you can look out onto the famous parkland and golf course and take in the spectacular views of the Derbyshire countryside and beyond. This is matched by our beautiful interiors, complete with all the facilities you would expect from a 4* Hotel.
Conveniently located just a short drive from the M1 and A38, sitting equidistant from Derby and Nottingham, within 20 minutes’ drive of the Peak District. Morley Hayes Hotel has 32 rooms, each boasts its own private terrace or balcony where you can look out onto the famous parkland and golf course and take in the spectacular views of the Derbyshire countryside and beyond. This is matched by our beautiful interiors, complete with all the facilities you would expect from a 4* Hotel. There is a large private car park on site.
I grew up around this area, which is how I knew about this place - I watched it evolve from a small farmhouse into the lovely venue it is today.
I've often visited here for meals, it's a very friendly welcoming place.
I've chosen the Granary Loft for our Retreat. There is disabled access via a ramp, and there are also staff to help us should anyone need help moving sewing machines!
This stay is Monday to Friday and is full board, inclusive of tea and coffee and snacks.
If you are coming by train (or plane!) there is a free shuttle service to the hotel - it does need to be booked in advance but I am happy to help with that.
The price has yet to be confirmed by the venue, but will be around £870. I will provide a payment plan to spread the cost.
