The Schmetz Overlock Needle features a medium ball point meaning it is particularly kind to materials and is suitable for sewing most knitted fabrics, including jersey, without causing any damage. Due to it's flat shank this needle is only suitable for household overlock machines whose operating instructions specify the use of the SY 2054 or 16x75 needle system.
